A collar under the head reinforces the countersink & enables a deeper more positive thread. The sharp, wide, deep single thread and sharp point cuts into the material, giving greater retention. No pilot hole required the Reisser surface finish gives excellent resistance against corrosion the invisible Teflon coating save energy and accelerates the screwing process.
